Eligibility for a Medical Visa

• Only people whose sole reason for visiting another country is to receive medical care are eligible for a medical visa.
• A patient should seek care in an Indian hospital or healthcare facility that is reputable, well-established, and specialized.
• The patient may have up to two medical attendants with them at all times. They might be close friends or family members.
• When determining whether to award a medical visa, serious conditions such as neurosurgery, joint replacements, ocular disorders, renal disorders, cardiac problems, congenital disorders, organ transplantations, radiation, plastic surgery, gene therapy, and others are taken into account. The treatments listed are not all-inclusive.

Documents Required for Indian Media Visa Application from Oman

• The original passport must have two blank pages and be valid for at least six months after the date of the scheduled departure from India.

• A photocopy of the address page and the passport's first five pages.

• An ID card from the government or documentation of residency. Two copies should be pasted and one should be attached at certain locations on the application form.

• Print a copy of your accurately, totally, and neatly completed online application in English.

• In Oman, nationals of Pakistan must complete an application for a special visa (four copies with five pictures).

• A formal letter recommending the applicant for specialized treatment overseas, provided by the Oman doctor or hospital.

Application Process of Attaining Indian Medical Visa from Oman

• Select "Regular Visa Application" from the Indian Visa Online menu.
• Fill out the application after thorough reading and print the hard copy.
• Adhere your photograph to the given space (2*2 inch).
• Lastly, on the day specified in the application's right margin, turn in the completed application form and the necessary paperwork at the Mission Counter, during business hours.
